The Multi-issuer API mode lets you issue CFDIs using multiple issuing RFCs from a single Facturama account. To do so, you must first register the Digital Seal Certificates (CSD) of each issuer that will participate in the billing process. Important considerations Before you start, keep the following aspects in mind:
The Multi-issuer API and API Web are included within the same annual API subscription
Both modes can be used simultaneously.
Operations performed through the Multi-issuer API are not visible in the Facturama web portal.
Invoice management, queries, downloads, and cancellations must be done through HTTP requests or by using one of the available SDKs.

Billing flow

The billing process in the Multi-issuer API consists of four main stages: CSD upload ↓ CFDI issuance ↓ Query and Download ↓ Cancellation (optional)

1 - Register the Digital Seal Certificates (CSD)

Before issuing a CFDI with a given RFC, you must register its digital seal certificates. This procedure is performed only once per issuer and will only need to be repeated when:
  • The certificate expires.
  • The certificate is revoked.
  • The CSD information needs to be updated.
Once registered, the certificates will be associated with the corresponding RFC for future issuances.

2 - Issue a CFDI

To generate an invoice, you must make a POST request to the Multi-issuer API CFDI endpoint.
In addition to the receipt’s fiscal data, you must include the Issuer node, which identifies the RFC that will issue the CFDI. Conceptual example
The RFC specified in Issuer must already have its CSDs registered in the account.

3 - Query and download receipts

Unlike API Web, CFDIs issued through the Multi-issuer API cannot be viewed from the web portal. To get information about an invoice, you must use the corresponding query endpoints. Query the detail of an invoice

Through the available endpoints it is also possible to:
  • Query the complete detail of a CFDI.
  • Download XML files.
  • Download PDF representations.
  • Download HTML formats.
  • Send invoices by email.

4 - Cancel a CFDI

If you need to invalidate an issued receipt, you must use the Multi-issuer API cancellation endpoint.
Because the receipts are not manageable from the web portal, the entire cancellation process must be done through the API or SDK.
