The test Digital Seal Certificates (CSD) let you generate CFDIs in the Sandbox environment without needing to use real certificates issued for your RFC.
The CFDIs generated with these certificates are for testing only and have no fiscal validity before the SAT.

Important considerations

Before using the test certificates, keep the following in mind:
  • They are valid only in the Sandbox environment.
  • They cannot be used in production.
  • All private keys use the same password.
  • The receiver data must comply with CFDI 4.0 validations.
  • The business name must be sent in uppercase and without the corporate regime when applicable.

Certificate password

All test certificates use the following password:
For most integrations, the following issuer RFC is recommended: This RFC is the most-used test issuer in Facturama’s documentation and examples.

Available certificates

Facturama provides multiple test RFCs to simulate different fiscal scenarios.

Use in API Web

In API Web, the certificates can be uploaded from:
  • The Facturama platform.
  • The certificate management endpoints.
Once configured, the issued CFDIs will automatically use the certificates associated with the account.

Use in the Multi-issuer API

In the Multi-issuer API, the certificates must be uploaded explicitly through the API.
Uploading certificates in the Multi-issuer API is independent of the configuration done in the web platform.

Example

Supported fiscal obligations

The test certificates are configured to simulate different fiscal scenarios, including:

Next step

Once the certificates are uploaded:
  1. Configure the issuer you will use in your tests.
  2. Create your first CFDI.
  3. Validate the generated XML and PDF.
  4. Implement the same flow using real certificates in production.
