Welcome to the Developer Portal

The Facturama API lets you automate the issuance, query, and cancellation of electronic invoices (CFDIs) directly from your application, without relying on manual portals. If this is your first time working with electronic invoicing in Mexico, we recommend understanding the system before writing your first line of code.

New to electronic invoicing in Mexico?

Learn what a CFDI is, who the parties involved are, what the SAT and RFC are, and how the stamping process works — in the Mexican Billing System section.

Start integrating

If you already know the fiscal context, these are the three steps to make your first API call:
1

Create your sandbox account

Sign up for free at dev.facturama.mx. No credit card or subscription required. Your login credentials are the same ones you will use in the API.
2

Set up authentication

Facturama uses HTTP Basic Auth. You only need to Base64-encode your username and password and add it to the Authorization header.See authentication guide →
3

Issue your first CFDI

Follow the step-by-step example to create an income CFDI with the minimum required fields and receive the stamped XML.See your first invoice →

What can you build?

ERP and sales systems

Self-service portals

Marketplaces

Payroll and withholdings

Available environments
